hoop DANCE: A Series w/ Katie McIntyre
Regular class rates apply
Katie is back to share her wealth of knowledge on dance styles and floor work and how to use them to create a more embodied and well-rounded hooping practice. Move beyond just hoop tricks and tech and find your dance!
Each week, Katie will teach basic steps from Jazz, Ballet, & Modern dance that students will then incorporate into their favorite hoop moves and flow. More details to come…
Each class will stand alone so drop-ins are welcome.
Most suitable for students with knowledge and practice of basic hoop skills.
Advance your practice in core hooping skills with Chloe. This workshop will focus on hooping on different parts of your body going from hip/thigh to knees, chest hooping, shoulder hooping, breaks and reversals, sustained spinning, and bringing the hoop all the way up from your knees to off body and everywhere in between.
Also a great way for more experienced hoopers to work on any of these techniques in your reverse current!
Prerequisite: must be comfortable with waist hooping. This workshop is all levels but not suitable for brand new beginners.

Hoop Church – A monthly dance, drum, and flow event!
One Sunday a month — (pay what you can entry fee)
Hoop Church is a monthly family-friendly community jam on Sunday afternoons featuring a drum circle and good vibes to shake away the blues. We like to call it Hoop Church, but all flow props, dance styles, instruments, movements, and people are welcome. A great opportunity to meet in community and play drums, spin hula hoops, and make some new friends. Pay what you can. Play what you can. Rejoice and be uplifted with our Community in Motion. (no church affiliation)
Note: If the weather is nice we’ll be outside in front of the studio. If it’s too cold or rainy we’ll be inside the studio.
January Flow Lab: Hoop Yoga

Step into a new flow. Deepen your relationship with your hoop. Expand your movement vocabulary. Slow down, and breathe.
Join Adriene for a grounding + invigorating Hoop Yoga class for this month’s Flow Lab offering. This practice builds on Vinyasa Yoga sequences in new ways – hoops becomes tools for alignment, balance, and creative movement. No yoga experience necessary, and modifications offered throughout the class. Hoops and mats provided for those in need.
Stretch your body and your mind as you move with your hoop in a new way!
What is Flow Lab? A once-a-month offering for *experienced* hoop students looking to grow and flow. These “mini workshop” sessions are intended to provide students with a space to discover new movement and to deepen our practices. Expect rotating teachers and topics to inspire you each month! Hoop Sweat + Sculpt
$15 / $12 students/seniors/members
Calling all hoopers – Join us for a cardio and hoop fitness experience designed just for you! Stephanie Juneau will guide you through a fun and challenging hoop fitness class designed to create stronger and healthier hooping bodies. Students must be able to waist hoop, and knowledge of basic hoop skills is recommended.
Class will include stretching, cardio dance warm-ups, and multiple interval stations focused on building strength, flexibility, and endurance, refining hooping skills, and getting a great full-body workout.
Hoops are supplied.
